didn’t like that the weak chips and salsa cost. Took about 13 minutes for someone to greet us. Then we realize there was only two or three people working in the front. really doing a great job for just two people. 100%. Late night dinner dark vibes, nice lil duck off spot to take a date and not be seen lol. They open the windows, and it was very cold on the inside, I know they were trying to attract some people outside to come in to the Halloween vibe but it did get cold. The guacamole, potatoes, and tacos. were all good. Not a large menu. I’m sure with a better greeting, This place is easily four-star. Adequate side parking, I can see on a good day a simple eat person could write this a five star. It’s not bad at all so stop by and try them
Food is simple but good. Note they don’t do much substituting but they will leave off ingredients you don’t want. We waited probably 10-12 minutes to be greeted by a waitress. But in her defense, she was the only wait staff I saw serving all tables, so she did a good job given how many tables she had.
I got the chili line shrimp tacos. Note you can’t interchange them. You get (3) of the same tacos. I changed out the rice & beans for potatoes at no charge, as I’m allergic to beans. My husband you fajita burrito which he said was good!
We would recommend stopping by, just come with patience. The music they play isn’t personally my style, but we come for the food. They do have a free parking lot behind the building. I think I saw a note that they charge a % if you pay with credit card, so we paid cash. Note everything is pretty much ala cart. Chips & salsa cost. Side of guacamole doesn’t come with chips, but that said, it’s all pretty reasonable prices, so that is ok for us.
Dive bar / restaurant vibe for sure. Took about 10-15 minutes before someone was ready to take our order. The food was fine; chips were clearly from a bag and too salty, guac and salsa were good, and the corn tortillas on the tacos were a little hard. I liked the black bean and elote filling / the fact that it came with guac.
Not gonna lie, I was VERY surprised by this place.
Dropped into this restaurant because I was early for a show at the venue next door, I didn't expect much but EVERYTHING was so very delicious.
I was visiting from out of state and honestly this is going to be one of my stops next time I'm in town.
The tables are a bit close together but service was great and if you like making friends with your table neighbors then you'd enjoy this place.
Excellent food as always. I was pleasantly surprised to see more items on the menu. The service was faster too. Nice that this place is still here.
If there’s a better spot that channels the spirit of the old Tortilla’s on Ponce, I don’t know it.
Whatever staff was working about 6:30 on New years day absolutely crushed it! They were fun and nice! The dj is also killer I look forward to every atlanta trip knowing I can come here!
The food was decent. Ordered the vegan hazedilla, but it did not come with vegan cheese as I thought it would. Overall good portions. Many people smoke cigarettes inside which a big downside if you are not a smoker. The server was nice. Atmosphere was cool. Probably would not come back here again though.
